First trip

In April Madeline and I left daddy at home and flew to Madison, Wisconsin to visit some of my family and friends.

We visited the Dept. of Horticulture office, where my dad works.

We spent an afternoon at my mom's school. The kids were so exited to have a baby in their classroom! We also spent some time with the good friends I had growing up.

This was the first time my dad and some of my siblings had met Madeline. I think it was fun for them to have a baby around the house again.

We had a wonderful trip, and hope to be able to make it back there sometime soon!

First Toy

We bought Madeline her first toy a couple of weeks ago. I noticed that she was starting to be more aware of her surroundings, and thought she might want something more interesting to look at than the ceiling!

The other thing that she finds very entertaining is her bathtub. Bathtime is her favorite time of the evening. She likes to kick her legs and try to eat the washcloth.
