We had some family visit us during the first weekend in May. Scott's two sisters, Andrea and Christy, his brother Clint, sister-in-law DeeDee, and their baby, Mack, came for Madeline's blessing. We had a lot of fun hanging out together.
The two babies played together. Acually, Mack played with Madeline and she was completely oblivious to him.
We went to one of our favorite restaurants, Babe's Chicken. They have the BEST fried chicken we've ever had!
We made caramels in three flavors: anise, cinnamon, and pina colada. I definitely ate more than my fair share, but they were delicious.
We did some shopping at Grapevine Mills, our favorite outlet mall that's just a few minutes away.
We went on a walk to the canal that's near our apartment. We fed the turtles, fish, and ducks.
Scott blessed Madeline on Sunday in our home, and a few of our friends joined us. It was a lovely experience. Madeline looked so beautiful in the special dress Grandma Serr gave her.
