Madeline had her 4 month well baby visit about three weeks ago. She sure is growing! She weighed 16 lbs. 10 oz., and was 27 inches long. Her height was off the charts and her weight was in the 97th percentile. After many months of thought, discussion, and debate between her parents, Madeline received her first round of immunizations. She did very well and didn't cry much at all, nor did she develop a fever or any adverse reactions. We are very grateful for that. Her dad sure was worried about her and called us several times a day that week to check on her. I am glad that he loves her so much. Here are some pictures we took around that time so you can see how much she's growing.
I started feeding her rice cereal a couple weeks ago. She's still not to sure about it, but is starting to open her mouth when I touch the spoon to her lips. I think she's more interested in the spoon than the cereal. Scott tried it and said it didn't taste very good, so I don't blame Madeline for not loving it.
We spent the afternoon of the 4th of July with our friends Scott & Janae. We barbecued and went swimming. Madeline still loves the water. She's a little fish just like her dad. That night I had to go to work, which was very busy because kids always get hurt on this holiday.
We bought Madeline an exersaucer last week. She decided she didn't want to play on the floor all day, and really likes her new toy. The bottom platform is bouncy, but she hasn't figured out how to jump on it yet. Her other favorite toy is a toothbrush.
This morning I was changing her diaper in her crib and she rolled over from her back to her tummy for the first time!

I'm so glad you updated! My babies are only in the 75th percentile. When I took them for their visit I mentioned the walker and Doc said to be sure that that and the bouncy gyms and jumpers were set low so they don't over-extend their calves--their knees should be bent when they are relaxing in it.
