The Best of Easter 2012
This is why we don't try to squeeze pictures into our Sunday mornings before 9am church. See the telltale signs of a crying girl and a fussy baby?
One of the highlights of our day was the primary musical number during sacrament meeting. It was Madeline's first. It involved refusing to go up without me, stating loudly all the way to the front of the chapel, "I don't know any of these children, mommy!", and spending the duration of the song exploring the view from all areas of the stand - including a brief consideration of talking into the microphone and then luckily deciding against it (good choice, Madeline). I couldn't stop laughing. Apparently others couldn't either. We got lots of comments.
We spent the rest of the day having dinner and an Easter egg hunt on the Serr farm. I love it when the Easter Bunny doesn't have to come to our house. We didn't even dye eggs this year. Don't tell Madeline - she's forgotten all about that fun activity:)
